Any scale used to sell goods by weight in Australia must be trade approved and verified — and re-verified after service. SWIA supplies the retail range from CAS and others: price-computing counter scales, label and receipt printers, POS-interfaced scales and washdown models for food preparation areas.

For hospitality and food service, portion and bench scales handle the kitchen, and counting scales cover stock and dry goods.

SWIA's individually licensed technicians verify the instrument on site, so a new counter scale is legal for trade from the first sale.
