A landfill or transfer station lives on its weighbridge: gate fees, levy reporting and diversion figures all come from the same weight. SWIA has installed and upgraded council and private weighbridges across Queensland, from new pit and above-ground decks to load-cell and indicator refits that bring an older bridge back to legal-for-trade accuracy.

Inside the facility, front-end loader scales weigh material as it is moved and belt weighers track throughput on picking lines and conveyors, while washdown and hazardous-area scales handle the wet and dusty corners of the plant.

Preventative service agreements keep the gate open — a weighbridge that fails on a Monday morning stops every truck behind it.
