Weighbridges Supplied to Rockhampton City Council
The Rockhampton City Council approached Australasia Scales Rockhampton branch to tender for the supply and installation of a 60 Tonne – 18m x 3.5m weighbridge. This was to be installed at their new landfill in February 2005. After the tendering process, Australasia Scales were given the order due to our ability to provide local back up after sales service, installation procedures and guarantee.
The Council was impressed with our efforts and subsequently placed another order for an 80 tonne 26m x 3.5m weighbridge to weigh B- Doubles in February 2006. The above mentioned projects include remote displays and weighbridge software allowing the drivers and weighbridge operators to operate more efficiently. Both weigh bridge’s have since been installed and are being used in exacting conditions, regularly serviced as part our preventative maintenance programme by our technical team in Rockhampton.
